The i-dapz Active Eyewear System™ is a unique system of interchangeable components that provides 18 different variations of sunglasses to respond to the different eyewear needs of those with active lifestyles. i-dapz are more than just sunglasses; they are total equipment for your eyes. From casual driving glasses to streamlined sport goggles, i-dapz has the right configuration to suit every sport or activity.

With i-dapz, there is no need to purchase separate eyewear for different activities. The uncompromising versatility of the i-dapz Active Eyewear System provides everything you need, for everything you want to do.

The i-dapz TV offer includes all of the following components:

i-dapz frame - The patented i-dapz frame permits interchangeable lenses in a unique full-frame design. Our vise-lock system ensures that your selected lenses stay securely in place, even during sport activities. The i-dapz frame also makes it easy to change arms and add other components such as the sport visor or headband with side shields for specific activities.
3 sets of lenses - The i-dapz TV offer includes 3 sets of lenses for use under even the most extreme lighting conditions.The Light Equalization System (LES) lenses provide high contrast and sharp definition for almost all lighting conditions. The Limiter lenses are dark lenses for use in exceptionally bright conditions.The Enhancer lenses have a yellow tint and provide high-contrast during dull, cloudy or hazy conditions. Each lens provides 100% protection from harmful UV-A and UV-B light rays.
Microslot adjustable arms – These arms look like the normal arms you would find on any sunglasses. However, our patented Microslot adjustable arms provide a 19-position adjustment system so that the earpieces can be positioned for a comfortable and precise fit on any size head.
Sport arms – These are straight arms without earpieces. They are designed for added comfort under hats or sports helmets. Their contoured shape and overmolded padding ensure a snug fit to the sides of the head.
Headband with side shields – The headband with side shields snaps into the i-dapz frame to convert your i-dapz into streamlined goggles that limit airflow for sports where wind and speed are factors. Their wide, adjustable elastic band fits any head size comfortably.
Sport visor – The i-dapz sport visor fits over the top of the frame to provide extra cushioning and comfort during active sports. It also limits vertical light from entering over the top of the glasses.
The i-dapz TV offer also includes the following bonus items:
Titanium colored frame – This additional frame is also made of durable Transolite and is identical to the standard i-dapz frame except for the color. It has a sleek silvery appearance that highlights the black accents at the nose and sides of the frame while providing a completely different look for all 18 variations of your i-dapz. It effectively doubles the number of possible i-dapz variations to 36.
Protective storage case – This "go anywhere" hard storage case provides compartmentalized storage for the complete i-dapz Active Eyewear System. It attaches easily to your belt or clothing and is ideal for in-car, glove-box storage as well.
Dapzee adjustable neck strap – This handy strap snaps onto the Microslot arms and can be adjusted snuggly to the head or be used as a neck strap to hold glasses within easy reach.
Microfiber cleaning mitt – This lens cleaning cloth also doubles as a soft storage pouch.
Activity guide – The activity guide provides suggestions for configuring just the right i-dapz variation for your desired sport or activity.

Optical Quality

The i-dapz Active Eyewear System is designed to provide maximum optical quality under all types of daylight conditions. A highlight of the system is the i-dapz Light Equalization System (LES) lenses. These lenses employ the most sophisticated optical engineering technology available today. Seven special coatings are applied to the LES lenses during manufacture to provide a space-age light calibration system that selectively blocks and filters incoming light so that only the most beneficial light is transmitted to the eyes. An anti-reflective coating on the reverse side of the lenses also blocks glare and back reflections The result is lenses that provide high contrast and crisp definition to the world around you for uncompromising optical quality.

While the LES lenses are suitable for almost all lighting conditions, the i-dapz Active Eyewear System also includes dark Limiter lenses for use in exceptionally bright conditions and Enhancer lenses with a yellow tint for higher-contrast during dull, cloudy or hazy conditions.

All i-dapz lenses cut glare and provide high levels of contrast and definition that allow your eyes to relax while you enjoy the view for your favorite sports or leisure activities. And each i-dapz lens provides 100% protection from UV-A and UV-B light rays, those invisible, high-energy light rays that, over time, can contribute to a number of serious eye disorders.

Comfort and Durability

The i-dapz Active Eyewear System is designed to be extremely lightweight yet durable enough to withstand a multitude of sports and other activities without breaking. The i-dapz frames, lenses, and arms are made of Transolite™, a thermoplastic polymer that is one of the lightest, most impact-resistant materials available today. Transolite is engineered to bend instead of cracking or splitting, making the i-dapz Active Eyewear System virtually indestructible!

The high comfort level of i-dapz is achieved through 5 key design characteristics:

Extremely lightweight Transolite construction.
Sleek contoured profile that minimizes the light that can enter from the edges of the frame.
Beveled side vents in the frame that allow gentle airflow to limit fogging and keep eyes cool while minimizing light entry.
Cushioned Santoprene® coating on components that contact the face such as the nosepieces, earpieces, sport arms and sport visor.
Adjustable components such as the Microslot arms, headband with side shields, and the Dapzee neck strap.
